Stored securely in our Google Workspace account, which is password-protected and access-restricted to authorised personnel only
Never sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than your reading
Retained only for as long as necessary to deliver your service (see Section 7)

We will always ask for your explicit consent before collecting this information.

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third parties who help us operate our business, such as:

Payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal)
Email delivery platforms
Website hosting providers
Google Workspace — used to securely store client birth details and reading notes

All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with UK GDPR. Google Workspace operates under a data processing agreement with Google LLC. As Google may process data outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are in place under UK GDPR adequacy provisions.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above. Specifically:

Birth details and reading notes are retained for 1 month following your last interaction with us, after which they are securely deleted.
Financial records are kept for 6 years as required by HMRC

Access the personal data we hold about you

Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict how we process your data
Withdraw consent at any time, including consent to hold your birth details
